Day 19: Skoki Loop Day 1

After Bow River campground we planned to do a backpacking trip in Banff National Park over 3 days: the Skoki Loop. Neither of us had a lot of experience preparing for backcountry hiking, and the morning rain at the campground complicated things as well, since we had to wait for some of our gear to dry. As a result, we were only able to start the hike in the late afternoon, but we were still to get some nice views on the way up to our first Skoki backcountry campsite at Baker Lake.
